Tips for Maintenance


The best gurantee for reliability is to have a basic knowledge of how your ride on mower works and what it needs to kep giving you it's best performance.  Here's a list of basic daily, weekly and yearly routines to help you get the best out of your machine.

Daily routines 

    Before usage

• Check for fuel and oil leakage.
• Check the parking brake.
• Check the engine oil level (when you refuel).
• Check the fuel pump air filter.
• Check the seat safety switch.
• Check the lift lever safety switch.
• Check the parking brake safety switch. 


    After usage

• Check/clean the engine cooling air intake.
• Check the cutting unit:
•     blades are secure
•     condition of blades (sharpness, shape, etc.)
•     blade synchronisation
• If applicable check steering wires (for play, etc.).
• Check fasteners (screws, nuts, etc.).
• Start engine and blades, listen for noise.
• Clean underside of cutting unit.
• Clean transmission air intake


Weekly routines

For daily use of the machine lubrication should be conducted twice a week.

• Check battery acid level.
• Check transmission oil level.
• Check the condition of belts, pulleys, etc.
• Check for damage.
• Check tyre pressures.
• Clean thoroughly around engine.
• Clean thoroughly around transmission.
• Clean all belts, pulleys, etc.
• Lubricate the driver’s seat.
• Lubricate all wires.
• Lubricate bearing surfaces on cutting unit.
• Clean inside frame.



Yearly routines

• Clean engine cooling air intake.
• Clean the air filter pre-filter (oil-foam).
• Change engine oil (1).
• Clean the air filter cartridge
• Check/adjust cutting height setting.
• Check/adjust parking brake.
• Inspect flame guard/spark arrestor (optional equipment).
• Replace engine oil filter (every 200 hours).
• Clean/replace spark plugs.
• Replace fuel filter in pipe.
• Clean pulse-air filter.
• Check engine valve clearance (4).
• Check whether oil change (4) necessary for gearbox (every 500 hrs).
• Replace the air filter pre-filter (oil-foam) (2).
• Replace air filter (paper filter) (2) (every 200 hours).
• Carry out 300 hour service (4).


1) Check the product manual for the first, and interval cahnges..

2) When driving with a heavy load or when the ambient temperature is high, replace every 50 hours. Clean and replace the filter more often in dusty conditions.

3) For daily use of the machine lubrication should be conducted twice a week.

4) Conducted by authorised service dealer.
